The family is the fundamental unit of Church and society and the primary place of Christian development.  In line with the Mission, Vision, Core Values and Priority Programs set forth by the Diocese of Parañaque, Las Piñas and Muntinlupa, to which our parish belongs, we, the members of the Commission on the Family of the Parish of the Presentation of the Child Jesus have the Mission -

To renew, enrich and strengthen families so that they can experience a deeper relationship with God and with each other.

 Our Vision for each of the family under our parish is to have -

A Christ-centered family unit where the institutions of marriage and family are strengthened and each family member is empowered to minister to one another and to other families.

Priority Programs

The Priority Programs of the PCJ Commission on Family are the following:

1. Counseling 

   • Marriage Counseling - Resolving Couple Conflicts

   • Family Counseling - Addressing family relational problems

   • Individual Counseling

   We offer free counseling from Monday to Friday.  For appointment, please contact the parish office at telephone number 825-4151.

2. Family Formation / Enrichment Programs

   • Parenting Seminars - Parenting 101 Effective Parenting God's Way

   • Family Dialogue

   • Mother-Daughter / Father-Son Dialogues

   • Preparing For Your Golden Years

   • Coping As a Solo Parent

3. Marriage Preparation and Enrichment

   • Pre-Cana Seminar -  A one-day marriage preparation seminar for engaged couples.  Topics covered include the Sacrament of Matrimony, Family of Origin, Communication, Married Intimacy, Responsible Parenthood, Management of the Family's Finances and Couple Spirituality.  The module is
     highly interactive, with a workshop and group sharing at the end of each topic.

   • Marriage Encounter Weekend - Offered by our strategic partner, the Missionary Couples of Mary for Christ, this Marriage Encounter Weekend  is designed for married couples who would like to further enrich their marriage thru their spiritual journey as husband and wife. Whether their marriage has a problem or not, this weekend program can bring wonders to a couple's marital life!

4. Responsible Parenthood and Natural Family Planning - We conduct teach-ins on the Responsible Parenthood and Billings Ovulation Method
